Chick-fil-A is coming to the Village of Menomonee Falls.
The popular Atlanta, Georgia-based fast food chain plans to build a 5,000-square-foot stand-alone restaurant at the southeast corner of County Line Road and Bancroft Drive, just west of Appleton Avenue, according to site plans submitted to the village.
The 1.35-acre vacant parcel is situated near a Culver’s restaurant to the west and a JC Penny store to the south.
The development would include two drive-thru lanes, a 50-stall parking lot and outdoor seating. Chick-fil-A would operate Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. All restaurants are closed on Sundays.
Plans submitted to the village did not include an anticipated opening date. The village plan commission will consider the plans during an Aug. 6 meeting.
The Menomonee Falls restaurant would be Chick-fil-A’s 12th Wisconsin location.
Since entering the Wisconsin market in 2014, the company has seen rapid growth in the Milwaukee area. It currently has restaurants in Oak Creek, Mount Pleasant, Pleasant Prairie, Greendale, West Allis, Pewaukee, Brookfield, and a vendor stand at Fiserv Forum in downtown Milwaukee, with a location proposed in Glendale.
Chick-fil-A has more than 2,400 restaurants across the U.S., according to its website.
