Milwaukee-based Zilber Property Group has acquired a vacant 165,000-square-foot industrial building in Pewaukee, and plans to make improvements to it in the coming weeks. A Zilber affiliate bought the building, located at W232 N2950 Roundy Circle, for $6.7 million, according to state records. The seller is an affiliate of Atlanta-based logistics company Veritiv Corp. The property Zilber acquired has an $8 million assessed value, according to Waukesha County records. Scott Furmanski of CBRE represented the seller, and Michael Kleber of Zilber represented the buyer in this transaction. Furmanski will market the space for lease on behalf of Zilber. “Our strategy is to identify and acquire functional, value-add assets, which complement our on-going industrial development activity in strategic southeast Wisconsin markets,” stated John Kersey, executive vice president of Zilber Ltd. “The Roundy Circle building is a well-positioned asset and we are confident in the market and our team’s ability to attract a quality user to occupy the space.”
