Wisconsin chapter of LERA earns national recognition

The Wisconsin chapter of LERA, the Labor and Employment Relations Association, was recently recognized with an outstanding chapter award from the national association. The chapter was recognized with five merit awards at the national conference in San Francisco.

The Wisconsin chapter of LERA is composed of members from the management, labor, academic and public sectors.

Wisconsin LERA will host a luncheon on Friday, Jan. 9, at Alioto’s Restaurant, 3041 N Mayfair Road in Milwaukee. Guest speakers will include C. Ann Martin, associate with Quarles and Brady LLP, Milwaukee, and a representative from Milwaukee 9to5. The topic of discussion will be the Milwaukee Sick Leave Ordinance.The cost to attend is $15 for members and $20 for non-members. For more information about the luncheon, contact Sue Donohuedavies at suedono@uwm.edu
