Wine bar opens in downtown Waukesha

The Crush wine bar and shop will have a grand opening in downtown Waukesha on Friday, April 17, at 4 p.m.

Co-owners Judy Rosynek and Paul Kwiecien, along with their respective spouses, said they started the business based upon their loves of wine, business and people.

“I feel very fortunate to be able to combine my passion for people and wine in my business” Rosynek said. “And, the people of Waukesha are fantastic!  We love to talk to and get to know our customers, and they are absolutely wonderful.”

The wine bar at 378 W. Main St. has a contemporary look.

“’Comfortable’ is what our customers have told us,” said Kwiecien. “We want customers to be able to relax, socialize, and enjoy wine and each other.”

Crush offers a menu of wines by the glass, craft beer and other beverages, cheese and chocolate pairings, as well as bottle wines that may be enjoyed on premise or for retail purchase.  The partners plan to add more to the food menu and retail offerings such as wine-related merchandise in the near future.
