Registration is now open for Menomonee Falls-based Community Memorial Hospital’s 12th annual Wheeling for Healing family bike ride. The event will take place on Saturday, August 8.
The event benefits the hospital’s Cancer Care Center, and is designed to celebrate the hundreds of patients who have completed or are now undergoing cancer treatment at Community Memorial.
There are three routes offered during the ride. They include: a 32 mile route which begins at 7:30 a.m., a 15 mile route which begins at 8:15 a.m. or a 4 mile route which begins at 9 a.m. All of the routes begin and end at the hospital, located at W180 N8085 Town Hall Road.
All riders will receive a T-shirt courtesy of local sponsors and will become eligible for dozens of door prizes. After the ride, there will be a free picnic lunch and live entertainment. WISN-TV Channel 12 sports director Dan Needles and meteorologist Lance Hill will serve as the honorary ride marshals.

Cost of registration on or before Friday, July 24 is $20 for adults and $15 for children 12 and under. After July 24, the registration prices go up to $25 for adults and $20 for children 12 and under. Ten member teams can be registered for $180.
