Wauwatosa Pick ‘n Save shopping center sold for $17.4 million

A Chicago-based real estate investment firm has purchased a shopping center anchored by Pick ‘n Save in Wauwatosa for $17.35 million.

Newport Capital Partners purchased the 69,749-square-foot Pick N’ Save Center, 1717 N. Mayfair Road, which also includes Mattress Firm, Supercuts and Firehouse Subs.

Mid-America Real Estate Corp.’s investment sales team handled the transaction on behalf of the seller, a joint venture between New York-based DRA Advisors LLC, on behalf of its institutional clients, and Atlanta-based RCG Ventures.

In July, Chicago-based Lark Creek purchased the 67,866-square-foot Pick ‘n Save store property in Milwaukee’s Metcalfe Park neighborhood for $9.3 million.
