W.M. Sprinkman facility sold to Custom Painted Vehicles

CPV to relocate to larger facility

The soon to be former headquarters of W.M. Sprinkman Corp. in Racine County was sold to an affiliate of Custom Painted Vehicles, Inc. for nearly $1.5 million, according to state records.

The 33,150-square-foot facility at 4234 Courtney St., in the Town of Raymond became available after Sprinkman decided to move its operations to Waukesha to accommodate increased demand. Sprinkman manufacturers stainless steel tanks and production systems for the craft brewing, dairy and personal care industries.

Wright Ventures LLC, an affiliate of CPV, purchased the facility for $1,495,000. The company’s current 13,000-square-foot facilit is located at 4235 S. 27th St., Franksville, just northeast of the W.M. Sprinkman facility.

Custom Painted Vehicles specializes in custom paint application, including air brushing, graphic paint design, motorcycle painting, promotional wraps and complete vehicle repaints. The company has done work for hundreds of motorcycle dealerships and large manufacturers including Case IH, Harley-Davidson and Yamaha.

Steve Wright, co-owner of CPV, said the plan is to relocate CPV’s operations to the new facility to accommodate growth.

“We’ve been very fortunate to have enjoyed steady growth over the past few years, and we’ve been leasing additional warehouse space.” Wright said. “Purchasing this new building puts all of our employees under one roof, greatly improving production efficiencies and allowing for additional programs and a really cool customer experience.”

Wright noted that relocating within the same business park would make the move easier and prevent the loss of any production time. The transition is expected to take place between November and the end of June 2017.

CPV is working Milwaukee commercial real estate firm The Barry Company to explore options for the current facility.
