BizTimes Media has jumpstarted its second annual Future 50 Most Social Company contest, which will award one area nonprofit organization a cash prize and advertising package worth more than $10,000.
The contest is affiliated with the 2014 Future 50 Program, a program that recognizes 50 regional companies that are at least three years old and have experienced significant growth in revenue and employment numbers.
The annual awards program is orchestrated by the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce and its Council of Small Business Executives, with support from presenting sponsor, Park Bank, and media partner, BizTimes Media.
Through BizTimes Media’s Future 50 Most Social Company contest, Future 50 companies opting to participate have selected a nonprofit organization to represent in a Facebook voting competition. The company that tallies the most votes will be crowned “2014 Most Social Company,” and the nonprofit they have designated will earn a $1,000 cash donation from BizTimes Media as well as an ad package valued at more than $9,000. The package includes a two-page spread in BizTimes Media’s Giving Guide, an annual publication highlighting the philanthropic work of regional businesses along with opportunities for community impact.
Facebook voting for the contest, which is open to the general public, began on Wednesday and is open through Wednesday, Sept. 3.
