The program, called NonprofIT, is run through UWM’s Center for Urban Initiatives and Research, ENTECH and the School of Information Studies.

“The program provides nonprofit organizations in the Milwaukee area with information technology support they would otherwise be unable to get,” a description on the program’s website reads. “In return, UWM students gain real world experience working on teams and projects to provide technology solutions while developing a passion for service.”

Services offered through the program include website creation and redesign, graphic design, and social media assistance. The program began in 2014.

Two nonprofits will be selected for this latest round and those organizations will receive free IT consultation throughout the 2016 fall semester. Applications will be accepted through March 23.
