Webber joined GMR Marketing, part of the Pembroke Pines, Fla.-based DAS Group of Companies, more than 10 years ago. With GMR, Webber has helped the firm’s clients market themselves through sports, music, entertainment and lifestyle initiatives, including the Olympics, the Super Bowl, the World Cup, Sundance Film Festival and SXSW.

“Tyson’s talent and expertise have set him apart since day one,” said Cameron Parsons, chief executive officer of GMR. “He’s an unfaltering leader, a trusted partner to our clients and an inspiring visionary.”

As president, Webber will be responsible for guiding GMR’s strategic growth, managing key client relationships and overseeing business operations in North America. He will also work closely with a network of counterparts in South America, EMEA and Asia.

“GMR has evolved significantly in the time that I’ve been with the agency,” said Webber. “We’ve established ourselves as a world-class digital, creative and strategic resource for some of the most significant brands in the world. I’m honored to continue the spirit of leadership and innovation that Craig has fostered for so many years.”

Connelly will continue to work closely with GMR in a senior advisory role throughout the rest of this year.
