Two hotels located across the street from General Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee have been sold.
The 140-room Best Western Milwaukee Airport Hotel & Conference Center, 5105 S. Howell Ave., and the Super 8 Milwaukee, 5253 S. Howell Ave., were purchased by Dev Properties LLC for $7 million and $4 million, respectively, from long-time owners Bob and Anita Dhir, of Brookfield.
The Best Western hotel, a three-story, 126,359-square-foot building built in 1977, has an assessed value of $4.2 million, according to city records. The Super 8 hotel, a three-story, 44,820-square-foot building built in 1986, has an assessed value of about $2.7 million, according to city records.
When contacted, Parikh Himanshu, who is listed as the agent for Dev Properties, would not comment on the sale.
Dev Properties purchased The Quality Inn in the Town of Brookfield for $3 million in February from the Dhir’s.
Dev Properties LLC also owns the Country Inn & Suites, Milwaukee Airport, 6200 South 13th St.
