- Thursday, June 18 Independence First will host its 8th annual Powerlunch at the Midwest Airlines Center. This year’s keynote speaker is Amy Roloff, star of TLC’s Little People, Big World. Roloff will share her successes and the challenges that she has overcome as a little person in the workplace as well as the community.The IndependenceFirst Powerlunch is an event that highlights the untapped potential of people with disabilities as a workforce, market-force and a group that contributes to the diversity of the community.Individual reservations for the event are $50, corporate tables and sponsorship opportunities are available.
- Friday, June 19, Economic Development/Washington County in collaboration with the Godfrey & Kahn law firm will host a free seminar that discusses the federal economic stimulus package and what it means to you. - Tuesday, June 30 the first annual BizTimes Media Technology Forum will be held at the Pfister Hotel, 424 E.
