The Bartolotta Restaurants’ charitable organization, Care-A-Lotta, has a mission to support local nonprofit organizations while also creating a platform for awareness. Each year, Care-A-Lotta provides an all-expenses-paid gala for one 501(c)3 nonprofit organization to help generate awareness, friends and funds for its mission.

This year, Safe & Sound Inc. was chosen from more than 60 nonprofit organizations.

The gala was held in September.

Bartolotta donated appetizers and a sit-down, four-course meal for up to 500 people, as well as the use of the newly-renovated Italian Community Center. Bartolotta recently took over the catering and restaurant operations at the ICC.

In addition to time and expertise in all things event-related, Bartolotta becomes invested in each cause.

Joe Bartolotta, president and co-owner of The Bartolotta Restaurants, took a full afternoon to tour the Milwaukee neighborhoods Safe & Sound serves to learn more about the work his company was supporting.

Bartolotta Restaurants staffs the event to ensure that more dollars raised go directly to support the mission of each organization.
