Webcom Inc., Milwaukee, recently released WebSource CPQ Assets, a new module for its WebSource CPQ application. WebSource CPQ Assets was designed to drive increased revenue, improved customer satisfaction and increased productivity of sales people, channel partners and back-office personnel by addressing the needs of aftermarket, field service, entitlements and assets. The new module allows someone to easily quote, propose and sell additional products and services that are pertinent to a specific asset created via the WebSource CPQ quote-to-order processing or imported into WebSource CPQ if it was created prior to deployment. Features include: asset properties convey product, installation and commercial characteristics, including customer information; asset attributes affect the behavior of that product via product rules, dependencies and triggers, guiding the user; a workflow and permission mechanism governs who can make changes and the timing of such changes; side-by-side asset revision comparison identifying lifecycle changes and forecast revenue from automated processes.
Paragon Development Systems
Paragon Development Systems (PDS), Oconomowoc, received an Advanced Unified Communications Specialization from Cisco Systems Inc., San Jose, Calif. PDS was one of the first Cisco partners in the Great Lakes region to obtain the specialization. The specialization was recently initiated in August and requires partners to demonstrate expertise in technologies, solutions and Cisco Lifestyle Services through structured training road maps and a knowledge validation process. All partners are required to begin the specialization process from the beginning to differentiate themselves from other Cisco providers. Cisco Advanced Unified Communications Specialization recognizes partners for their knowledge and expertise in designing, installing and supporting comprehensive, integrated network voice solutions, including Internet protocol communications.
TDS Metrocom
TDS Metrocom of Madison, Wisconsin, Internet Inc. of Racine and the Racine Technology Organization collaborated to create a charitable partnership with the Freedom Calls Foundation, Brooklyn Heights, N.Y., to provide care packages and live, real-time communication for area residents to connect with their loved ones serving overseas in the military. TDS Metrocom donated and installed a high-speed broadband connection at the Wisconsin Internet location. Family members may speak with their loved ones serving overseas for free after scheduling an appointment. Local companies and individuals can make donations of phone cards, personal hygiene items and other necessities through the OFC collection drive. Donations will be accepted at TDS Metrocom, Racine; Wisconsin Internet and Racine Technology Organization. Once collected, the care packages will be assembled and sent to military personnel who are currently serving in Iraq.

Eagle Technology Inc.
The Milwaukee Art Museum selected Eagle Technology Inc., Mequon, to supply its ProTeus V Professional Edition with Eagle’s Proteus Data Interface to the Johnson Controls Metasys building automation system for the museum’s maintenance work management needs. The Milwaukee Art Museum selected ProTeus V to document that standards for environmental and safety conditions set by the Museum Association are in place. Eagle’s interface to Metasys will insure the proper work is scheduled and completed without reliance on management intervention.
Security MicroImaging
Security MicroImaging, Milwaukee, will implement OnBase, an enterprise content management (ECM) solution developed by Hyland Software Inc., Westlake, Ohio, for Oconomowoc Residential Programs Inc., (ORP), Dousman. The solution will help ORP manage its human resources and legal documents for increased records retrieval efficiency and help it cut down on physical space required for records storage. Software modules including those involving scanning, records management, Microsoft Outlook integration and application enabler technologies will be integrated to specifically address ORP’s current and future business objectives.
RedPrairie Corp.
The DigitaLogistix solution developed by RedPrairie Corp., Waukesha, recently received Powered by SAP NetWeaver status. The status will ease the integration for customers deploying RedPrairie’s DigitaLogistix suite with SAP solutions. RedPrairie received one certificate validating the real-time seamless integration of DigitaLogistix into the SAP NetWeaver Portal and a second certificate validating business scenarios in SAP NetWeaver Exchange Infrastructure (SAP NetWeaver XI) to be complete, correct and well documented. With the SAP NetWeaver Portal certification, business executives can access up-to-the-minute supply chain performance data through SAP’s standard business portal. The metrics collected by DigitaLogistix can now be combined with industry-leading enterprise resource planning (ERP) data from SAP to provide a complete picture of the performance and status of an enterprise. DigitaLogistix was built on advanced service oriented architecture (SOA).
IMCO Technologies
Weston County Health Services, Newcastle, Wyo., recently purchased an IMCO Teleradiology System from IMCO Technologies, Pewaukee. The system will have bi-directional capability between an off-site radiology group and the hospital.
New venture to promote Wisconsin’s bioscience industry
