The move marks the second major retailer the company has expanded into after hitting the shelves in Midwest Costco stores earlier this year.

Angelic’s specialty lines of sprouted mash hamburger buns, dinner rolls, wraps and baguettes will be in the Target stores.

“We’re constantly bringing exciting and unique products to the sprouted category,” said Jenny Marino, president and chief executive officer of Angelic Bakehouse. “Our expansion in SuperTarget is a major opportunity for us to introduce some of these specialty products to new audiences. We’re taking the sprouted category beyond sliced bread, and Angelic fans can’t get enough.”

Angelic also makes a line of pizza crusts and launched its first line of snack and deli bread crisps in September.
