Rare Steakhouse, the ground floor restaurant of the new 17-story office tower at 833 E. Michigan St. in downtown Milwaukee has been holding private events this week in preparation for its Saturday night grand opening.

Madison-based Noble Chef Hospitality announced last year it would open its first Milwaukee restaurant in the building. Rare Steakhouse is a steak and seafood restaurant that features in-house dry aged Allen Brothers steaks and more than 400 different wines.
