Sussex IM,a Sussex-based custom plastic injection molder, has appointed Megan Tzanoukakis to the role of president and chief executive officer. Tzanoukakis, who joined Sussex IM in 2014, was previously the company’s vice president of supply chain.
Three other leadership appointments were also announced this week. Christopher Everson is the company’s new chief technical officer, Kyle Kopp is the new chief operating officer and Justin Guagliardois the new chief financial officer.
Keith Everson, the outgoing CEO of Sussex IM, will shift into the role of chairman. Everson has been with the company for 42 years.
“This new leadership team will take Sussex IM to the next level. After working with this group of professionals, I am confident they will keep the family culture and integrity of Sussex moving forward,” said Everson in a statement.
Before joining Sussex IM in 2014 as the manufacturing scheduler, Tzanoukakis worked in the assurance practice at PwC. In her role as vice president of supply chain, Tzanoukakis enhanced the utilization of Sussex IM’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) system to increase inventory accuracy and develop the fulfillment business.

Everson joined Sussex IM in 2022 as the director of project engineering. Prior to that, he spent 10 years at Waukesha-based Husco in the engineering department. As CTO, he will oversee the marketing, sales, engineering and technical services departments.
Kopp started his career in plastics as a mechanical design engineer and has been in the industry for 20 years, holding positions in engineering, sales, and management. Kopp joined Sussex IM in 2018 as the vice president of manufacturing, where he has managed and streamlined the overall operational efficiency of the manufacturing floor.
Everson and Dave Guagliardo, former CEO and CFO of Sussex IM, will retain ownership of the company. They will work in partnership with the new leadership team in an advisory capacity and will support the leadership transition throughout 2023.
