Cardinal Stritch University Leadership Center has partnered with the St. Francis Institute Milwaukee to present a Servant Leadership workshop, How To Connect Vs. Collide: Leadership—The Art of Empowering, on Tuesday, Sept. 14 from 8:30 a.m. until 12 p.m. at Cardinal Stritch University Kliebhan Conference Center. The half day seminar will be presented by Father Keith Clark and Mike Panther, co-authors of “Leadership—The Art of Empowerment.”   They will share leadership techniques as well as their practical application of that learning.
“A good leader reflects the attitude of a leader,” said Clark. “This workshop will discuss the importance for a leader to manage his or her inner world in order to connect, rather than collide, with colleagues. We will demonstrate how empowerment of colleagues produces better results, better work climate and more personal satisfaction.”
Clark has leadership experience leading religious communities and his co-author Panther has more than 30 years of leadership experience leading for profit manufacturing organizations.
“We had such an incredible response to the March Servant Leadership workshop with Father Keith and Mike, we have built an entire Servant Leadership series,” said Dr. Peter Holbrook, CardinalStritchUniversityLeadershipCenter’s executive director “The September workshop is all new material and is the first of four workshops.”
Additional servant leadership workshops include The Postive Power of Servant Leadership, Serving and Leading Coherently, and Discovering Your Call to Serve and Lead. Cost to attend is $30 and includes a light breakfast. To register visit www.stritch.edu/servantleadership.
