Northwestern Mutual today announced that Steve Stribling has been promoted to vice president – disability income and executive officer for Northwestern Mutual, effective January 2016.
Stribling joined Northwestern Mutual in 1988 and was promoted to an officer position in 1992. He previously served as vice president of life insurance development, leading the company’s life insurance product development and implementation efforts. Prior to that, he was responsible for overseeing the division that pays benefits under Northwestern Mutual’s disability income products and life insurance waiver of premium benefits as well as overseeing the company’s Special Investigations Unit. He has more than 20 years of product, pricing and claims experience with disability income and long-term care products.
Stribling received a Bachelor of Science Degree in actuarial science from Drake University.
Stribling is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
He lives in Greenfield with his wife, Becky and three children.
