Pewaukee-based Stay-Lite Lighting recently acquired J&J Commercial Lighting, located near Cleveland, Ohio, to strengthen its lighting service and lighting upgrade offerings.
J&J is a full-service lighting contractor. It has been a subcontractor to Stay-Lite, servicing the company’s customers in northeastern Ohio and western Pennsylvania.
“There is tremendous interest in the marketplace for lighting management companies capable of self-performing work across multiple states,” said Kirk Tuson, Stay-Lite Lighting president. “This move strengthens our ability to service clients in the region. J&J is well-respected in the region for providing excellent service. It has the equipment and the people to provide quality lighting solutions and maintenance.”
Tuson said that all of the J&J employees will be retained.
“It will be business as usual for all customers,” he said.
For more than 40 years, Stay-Lite Lighting has provided lighting solutions and maintenance for industrial, commercial and retail businesses in the Midwest.
