Stan’s Fit For Your Feet is making an effort to enhance the retail experience at its Brookfield locations.

The Milwaukee-based footwear retailer this week announced plans to renovate its New Balance store in Brookfield. In addition, Stan’s will open a new store in partnership with San Rafael, California-based Vionic Shoes.

Stan’s new store, called The Vionic Store Milwaukee by Stan’s, opens on Thursday, April 11 at 9:30 a.m. The first 100 customers to visit the store will receive a bag of giveaways.

The store is the fourth Vionic retail location in the U.S. Founded in 1979 in Australia, the company is known for its stylish, yet supportive men’s and women’s footwear and orthotics.

After being renovated, the New Balance store dons a fresh new look that is “more urban” to create a “more inviting shopping experience,” according to the announcement. Merchandise will be moved next door to Stan’s Fit For Your Feet until the store reopens also on April 11.

Both stores share a building with Stan’s Brookfield store, located 17155 W. Bluemound Road at The Plaza retail center on the corner of Bluemound and Calhoun Roads.

“We are so excited to be expanding our collection of stores  with this new Vionic store in the Milwaukee market,” sad Jim Sajdak, president of Stan’s Fit For Your Feet. “Our Vionic Store will have a contemporary and exciting look that will showcase the exciting brand.”

Sajdak said Stan’s three locations have carried the Vionic’s boots, sandals, slippers and orthotics for nine years, but the new store will feature an expanded inventory.

A third-generation family-owned business, Stan’s Fit For Your Feet operates additional locations in Glendale and Greenfield.
