Christine Specht has been promoted to be the new chief executive officer of Menomonee Falls-based Cousins Submarines Inc.
Specht had previously served as president and chief operating officer. She will retain the role of president.
As CEO, she succeeds her father, William Specht, who had founded the restaurant chain in 1972.
A formal announcement of the changes will be made June 15, according to a company spokeswoman. However, the company requested today that Specht’s title be changed to include the CEO role in an online story about the first BizTimes Family & Closely Held Business Summit.
Specht also has updated her LinkedIn status to include the CEO title.
