The Center for Deaf and Hard of Hearing recently held a two-part event at the Milwaukee City Center. All funds raised from the event were donated to Center. The morning event, which was moderated by Richard Pimentel, who lost 50 percent of his hearing in Vietnam, featured five panelists from area corporations. The panelists discussed changing work environments with baby boomers retiring and meeting the needs of younger employees. The luncheon honored Jim Meisser, who recently moved back to Kohler to start his own bank. Meisser is believed to be the only profoundly deaf bank president in the nation.
