Sivak earns family business certification

Todd Sivak, partner at Sivak Financial Group in Brookfield, has earned a Certified Family Business Specialist certification.

He earned the CFBS after completing a year-long graduate level course that provided strategies to assist family businesses with transferring a business to the next generation.

Sivak Financial Group focuses on family and closely held businesses.

“Everyone’s situation is different,” Sivak said. “Some people need to capitalize on the assets that they have and cash out. Some people need to really look at the wealth transfer strategies.”
