Site for West Milwaukee Sendik’s store sells for $2.3 million

An affiliate of Mequon developer Devo Management Co. has purchased the West Milwaukee site that is the planned future location of a Sendik’s Food Market for $2.3 million.

DEVO Miller LLC purchased a 1-acre parcel at 4200 W. Burnham St.,  the northeast corner of Burnham Street and Miller Parkway, from ADM Milling Company, according to state real estate records. The parcel is the former site of an ADM Milling Co. grain elevator.

Sendik’s is planning a 40,000-square-foot store on the property.

Devo Management’s projects include Sendik’s Village Centre Germantown, Sendik’s Franklin, Sendik’s Commons in Greenfield and Sendik’s New Berlin Plaza.

Greg Devorkin, principal of Devo Managment Company LLC, could not immediately be reached for comment.

Whitefish Bay-based Sendik’s operates 12 stores in southeastern Wisconsin and has plans to open stores at The Corners development in the Town of Brookfield.
