Schmitz Ready Mix buys Okauchee Redi-Mix plant

Port Washington-based Schmitz Ready Mix Inc. recently acquired the Okauchee Redi-Mix plant at 120 Watertown Plank Road near Nashotah, state records show.

Schmitz already has nine locations, including plants in Port Washington, Lake Geneva, Mount Pleasant, Grafton, New Berlin, Richfield, Franklin and Milwaukee.

It paid $4.5 million for the Okauchee Redi-Mix property. The seller was OK Property Investments, LLC, according to state records.

Okauchee Redi-Mix has been in operation since 1957.
