Racine-based SC Johnson will add Caterpillar executive Kim Hauer as senior vice president for global human resources, the Peoria, Illinois-based mining equipment company announced.
Hauer has been with Caterpillar for more than 20 years. She currently holds the positions of vice president for the human services division and chief human resources officer. She started with the company as an intern in assembly planning at the Lafayette, Indiana engine plant and joined the company full-time in 1997.
Brad Halverson, Caterpillar chief financial officer, said Hauer had transformed the company’s global human resources organization into “a highly collaboration, truly professional team.”
“Kim has also been instrumental in driving and enhancing a culture of diversity and inclusion across the company. We thank Kim for her years of service and wish her and her family success as she moves into this next phase of her professional career,” Halverson said.
Hauer will remain with the company until Nov. 1. Caterpillar plans a global search to find her replacement.
