Sale of Great Lakes Marine Service Center in Grafton complete

The last two buildings of the former Great Lakes Marine Service Center in Grafton have been purchased by Motorsport Composites for $1 million.

Jim and Kathleen Burt owned the property at 2133 County W, which included four buildings. Grafton-based Motorsport Composites purchased two 15,000-square-foot buildings at the southern portion of the property Sept. 18.

Mark Schnoll and Jim Larkin from Colliers International, brokered the deal.

In June, Port Washington-based Molded Dimensions Inc. purchased a 12,000-square-foot and 9,200-square-foot building for $600,000 from the Burts. NAI MLG brokered the deal.

“This property sat on the market for a while but we found two great companies that didn’t need all the space so we were able to split it and now two businesses can grow,” Larkin said.
