The 24,000-square-foot Nissan dealership will be built at 2675 W. Washington St. The new dealership will have about 30 employees.

This will be Russ Darrow Group’s third dealership on Washington Street in West Bend. It also has a Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram dealership at 3210 W. Washington St. and a Toyota, Scion dealership at 2700 W. Washington St. Those dealerships are on the north side of the street. The Nissan dealership will be on the south side of the street, across from the Toyota, Scion dealership.

Construction for the Nissan dealership is expected to begin by the end of this year and be complete in the fourth quarter of 2017.

“It will be a wonderful customer convenience to have a tier one brand like Nissan in Washington County,” said Mike Darrow, president and chief operating officer of Russ Darrow Group. “The opening of this dealership strategically ties into Nissan’s and Darrow’s goal of representing the brand on the north side of Milwaukee at the Metro Auto Mall, in Sheboygan, and now in West Bend.”

Russ Darrow Group owns and operates dealerships in Milwaukee, Appleton, Green Bay, Madison, Waukesha, Wauwatosa, West Bend, Greenfield, and Sheboygan representing Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram, Toyota, Scion, Honda, Nissan, KIA, Mazda, Volkswagen, and Mitsubishi. The company has more than 1,000 employees and also operates a nationwide fleet and leasing business and has its own in-house financing company.
