Runzheimer acquires Canadian firm

Waterford-based Runzheimer International, a global leader in Total Employee Mobility solutions, has acquired Canadian GPS technology firm SatLogix Inc., an innovator of vehicle mileage tracking devices and cloud-based mileage management platforms.

“This is an extremely strategic and exciting step forward for Runzheimer that will continue to enable our clients to take advantage of emerging technology,” said Greg Harper, president of Runzheimer International. “We intend to further integrate the services that SatLogix brings to us, as we continuously expand the breadth and depth of our Total Employee Mobility offerings.”
The acquisition of SatLogix further augments Runzheimer’s technology across all of its products that enable employee mobility and increases its depth of expertise in GPS integration.
Former SatLogix chief executive officer, Rafael Moshe will join Runzheimer as product manager, bringing with him significant expertise in GPS product development, and will assist with operational and product integration.
Founded in 1933, Runzheimer International serves 60 percent of the Fortune 500 and numerous government agencies.
