Milwaukee-based
Rockwell Automation Inc. said Monday it had acquired Texas-based
AVATA, a provider of supply chain management, enterprise resource planning and enterprise performance management solutions.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Rockwell described AVATA as a leading consultant and systems for Oracle cloud software applications with significant domain expertise in enterprise applications.

AVATA augments our ability to provide our customers access to a leading portfolio of cloud solutions for enabling digital transformation.”
AVATA will be integrated with Kalypso, part of Rockwell’s lifecycle services business. Kalypso and AVATA had previously announced a formal partnership in March.
