Cudahy-based Roadrunner Transportation Systems Inc. has changed the name of its Transportation Management Solutions operating segment to Global Solutions, effective immediately. Roadrunner is an asset-light transportation and logistics service provider.
“We’ve significantly expanded our international capabilities through multiple acquisitions over the past year, including Marisol International and Unitrans, to meet our customers’ expanding needs for global shipping solutions,” said Mark DiBlasi, president and chief executive officer of Roadrunner. “We believe the name Global Solutions better reflects the growing importance of our global capabilities within our overall portfolio of service offerings.”
The Global Solutions operating segment structure will remain the same, and will continue to provide global supply chain solutions, including air and ocean freight forwarding; customs brokerage; and shipment planning and execution, among others.
