Cudahy-based Roadrunner Transportation Systems Inc. this week terminated chief operating officer Brian van Helden.
The company entered a separation agreement and release effective June 10. Under the agreement, van Helden will be paid his base salary and continue to receive benefits until September 7.
van Helden joined Roadrunner in March 2010. If he abides by the terms of the separation agreement, which includes non-disparagement, non-solicitation, and non-disclosure restrictive covenants, all of his outstanding and unvested time-based restricted stock units will vest on September 7, 2016.
