Roadrunner named to Fortune 100

Cudahy-based Roadrunner Transportation Systems Inc. has been named one of Fortune’s 100 Fastest-Growing Companies for 2014.

The transportation provider, which is ranked at 38, was also listed last year. It is the only Wisconsin company in the ranking.

Fortune ranked the companies based on revenue and earnings per share growth rates, as well as the three-year annualized return for the period ending June 30. Companies on the list must: be trading on a major U.S. stock exchange; report data in U.S. dollars; file quarterly reports with the SEC; have a minimum market capitalization of $250 million and a stock price of at least $5 as of June 30; and have been trading continuously since June 30, 2011.

“Inclusion in Fortune’s 100 Fastest-Growing Companies for the second straight year is a tremendous honor. It not only affirms the strength of our business model and growth strategies, but also recognizes the hard work and commitment of the entire Roadrunner team,” said Mark DiBlasi, president and chief executive officer of Roadrunner. “Looking to the future, our goal is to continue to grow our three business segments through solid organic growth and a robust pipeline of potential acquisitions. We are positioned to achieve our goal of becoming a leading, multi-billion dollar global transportation provider.”
