Jason Luczak, a trial and appellate attorney at Milwaukee-based Gimbel, Reilly, Guerin & Brown LLP, represents clients in a variety of practice areas. He has appeared on Court TV several times to provide input on Wisconsin cases and has also had cases that have been featured in Newsweek, The Daily Beast, 48 Hours and Dateline.
“Jason has a key talent of developing novel defenses and motions related to digital devices and the digital collection of evidence,” said Britt Frank, firm marketing director.
Luczak has successfully taken on a number of pro bono clients, including a 2016 case in which the Department of Corrections doubled the percentage it was withholding from a prisoner’s wages for the payment of restitution, though this conflicted with the judgment of conviction.
In addition to his practice, Luczak is an adjunct associate professor of law, teaching the trial skills competition course at Marquette University Law School and coaching the Marquette National Moot Court Competition team, which won the regional competition and advanced to the national finals.
