Renovations underway at shuttered Walker’s Point bar

Fixture Pizza Pub will occupy space

Renovations are underway to transform the former Boom/The Room space into Fixture Pizza Pub in Walker’s Point.

JD Commercial Properties pulled a $595,000 building permit from the city of Milwaukee last month. Mukwonago contractor Campbell Construction expects renovations to the buildings at 621-625 S. 2nd St. will take two to three months.

According to Fixture’s website, the pizza pub will feature “Milwaukee-style” pizza, a full bar and indoor bocce ball.

The buildings were built in 1887 and 1890 and total 7,000-square-feet. They were sold in June for $785,000 to JD Commercial Properties LLC.
