What are you working on? "I am currently working as the development manager for University Club Tower, but I soon will be working on The North End too."
How does the market look to you? "Although the condominium market has softened in Milwaukee, our city never goes through the drastic peaks and valleys that other cities experience. As long as developers have "A" locations and provide the right product to buyers, multi-family housing developments should succeed. The resale market is challenging with all of the new condominiums in the market, but owners should fare well if they have unique amenities in either their development or in their condominium."
What was the best deal you’ve ever been involved in? "University Club Tower has been a fantastic and challenging development. Many people strive their whole career to work on a deal like this one, and I was fortunate enough to experience it early in my career. The education I have received over the past five years is an indication of the many facets of this development and the challenges along the way."
What was the funniest moment of your career? "A resident of University Club Tower frequently saw me swimming in the lap pool in the health club at the tower. He coerced me into a race against a female swimmer 10 years younger than me who used to race competitively. Of course, details about my competitor were revealed only after I agreed. Let’s just say that I knew the race was over one lap into the three lap race, and the 30 residents, coworkers, and friends that were invited to the race (also without my knowledge) were treated to a lopsided competition. Rumor has it the race was even posted on Youtube."
