Company: Jansen Construction Group, Inc., a division of The Jansen Group Inc.
Title: President
Education: bachelor’s degree in construction management from UW-Platteville

What are you working on? "We are working on a number of exciting projects including; Hales Corner Lutheran Church, Greenfield Law Enforcement Center, Mortara Instrument, Fox Point Police, Girl Scouts of Milwaukee Area, Camp Improvement Projects, Lisbon Fire Department and Greater Mount Sinai Church."
What does the market look like to you? "The market is strong, and there are a lot of very exciting things happening in the city right now. It’s shaping up to be a great year.
What was the best deal you’ve ever been involved in? "This is a very difficult question to answer because each project is unique and has a component to it that makes it memorable. But if I had to narrow it down, the best would definitely be the community projects I’ve been fortunate to have worked on including the Urban Ecology Center, the John Michael Kohler Arts Center, Schlitz Audubon Nature Center, Agape Community Center, Children’s Outing Association, Penfield Children’s Center and the others which touch our community in a positive way."
What was the funniest moment of your career? "I’ve had a lot of fun over the years, and have had many laughs with the great people I have been fortunate to work with. One of the funnier moments that come to mind was seeing the reaction on someone’s face when he finally noticed the velvet Elvis painting we hung in his office after it had been there for almost a week – priceless."
