The new El Rey supermarket at 916 S. Cesar Chavez Dr., Milwaukee, opened recently. The general contractor for the project was J.H. Findorff & Son Inc. The owners of the $5 million store, Olivia and Ernesto Villarreal, will have five grocery stores on the south side of Milwaukee by the end of the year.
The Milwaukee Chapter of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI), announced that 14 companies have been accepted for membership. They are: Port Washington-based C.S. Didier Woodworking, Menomonee Falls-based Denco Windows Inc., Milwaukee-based GSI General Inc., Milwaukee-based J. C. Painting, Milwaukee-based Killer Decks Wisconsin LLC, Germantown-based The Kinsley Group, Cedarburg-based Kohls Floor Covering Inc., Butler-based Over the Top Roofing and Construction, Cedarburg-based Ozaukee Bank, Mukwonago-based Phantom Creek Builders LLC, Brookfield-based Skirrow Design Build LLC, Cudahy-based TJH Home Energy Performance Consulting, Mequon-based Twin Pines Home Improvements LLC and Fredonia-based Uhlig Custom Counter.
