Pyramax Bank is seeking approval from Milwaukee officials to remodel and renovate its branch at 1605 W. Mitchell St. on Milwaukee’s near south side. Plans include addition of a three-lane drive-thru. The location has operated as a bank for 95 years. It formerly served as the corporate offices for Mitchell Savings Bank, said Monica Baker, senior vice president of marketing for Pyramax. Renovations will begin as soon as Pyramax’s plans are approved by the city, Baker said, and are expected to last nine months. Pyramax recently opened a new branch at 8110 W.
