Athens, Ga.-based Landmark Properties has been awarded the management contract for Eleven25 at Pabst, the new student housing development at the former Pabst Brewery in downtown Milwaukee.
Milwaukee’s newest student apartments, at 1125 N. Ninth St., will feature 440 beds in 151 units on three floors in a mix of one- to four-bedroom apartments.
Originally envisioned as an apartment complex for international students, developers realized the need for high-end student housing is in high enough demand to open it up to all students.
The facility will serve institutions including Marquette University, Milwaukee School of Engineering, Milwaukee Area Technical College, University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee, Concordia University, Mount Mary University and Alverno College.
Blue Ribbon Management LLC, the developers of the project, have also added a public area consisting of a 4,000-square-foot food court with up to five restaurants and a 3,500-square-foot convenience store and coffee shop to the project, which will open in August.
Rents will run from $600 to $1,500 a bed and include utilities. Monthly parking at The Brewery parking structure will be available for an added fee.
