Property management company to move from Glendale to Milwaukee

Anchor Properties seeking MEDC loan for new headquarters

Glendale-based Anchor Properties LLC is moving its company to 71st Street and Good Hope Road in Milwaukee to expand its office and be closer to its clients.

The 17-year-old company is currently leasing 1,600 square feet at 6300 N. Port Washington Road in Glendale.

Curt Hoff, owner of Anchor Properties, has applied for a $162,000 loan through the Milwaukee Economic Development Corporation, under the name Three Stooges LLC, to purchase a 5,300-square-foot building at 7120 Good Hope Road in Milwaukee for the new office.

“We need to move,” Hoff said. “Right now my office door hits my desk and we have just outgrown our space. Also, this location brings us closer to our clients.”

Anchor Properties rehabs and rents residential units on the city’s north and northwest side. It specializes in duplexes, townhouses, and single family homes.

Anchor currently has eight full-time employees and two part-time employees. Hoff said he might add more employees with additional space, but that is yet to be determined.

The MEDC board will review the loan application Tuesday.
