Private equity firm acquires Airsan

Cross Creek Partners, LLC, a private equity firm with a focus on manufacturing and distribution companies in the upper Midwest, has acquired Airsan Corp., a Milwaukee-based manufacturer of permanent filters.
“We’re pleased to add Airsan to our portfolio,” says Randall Perry, founder of Milwaukee-based Cross Creek Partners. “Airsan has an excellent reputation as a high quality designer and producer of filters for the industrial and HVAC markets. They have a great team of employees and a strong and loyal customer base. We look forward to supporting Airsan in their continued growth and success.”
Airsan manufactures both permanent metal and dry type air filters for a range of applications, including filtration products in the defense, wind turbine, waste treatment, electric motor and cogeneration markets.
“Airsan products are shipped worldwide to OEMs (original equipment manufacturers) and distributors for a number of applications in the filtration market,” said Kurt Glaisner, vice president and co-owner of Airsan prior to the acquisition. “With the support of Cross Creek Partners and the increased demand for cleaner air, Airsan’s future looks very promising.”
“With the experience, guidance and resources that Cross Creek Partners is able to provide, Airsan will be able to continue to grow and move forward,” agrees Arlin Ratajczak, president and owner of Airsan for more than 30 years prior to the acquisition. “I am confident that Airsan, its employees and customers will be in very good hands.”
“We plan to embrace Airsan’s strengths by continuing to deliver quality products and service to their existing customer base,” Perry said. “At the same time we will look at leveraging their brand and reputation by exploring tangential markets.”
