The Prairie division is a fiduciary-focused administrative trust company focused on personal trust services, retirement plan services, investment management and nonprofit services.

Schultz joined Prairie in November 2013 as senior vice president and head of personal trust. He previously served as vice president and U.S. estate planning specialist at BMO Private Bank, and before that managed the personal trust and nonprofit services legal department and estate settlement services group at Marshall & Ilsley Trust Co.

In his new role, Schultz will be responsible for managing the division’s operations, including personal trust services, retirement plan services, investment management and operations.

“We are extremely pleased to have Victor move into this position and continue to build on the solid foundation that’s been established at Prairie Financial Group,” stated Ty Taylor, president and chief executive officer of Waukesha State Bank. “His unparalleled expertise in personal trust, fiduciary litigation, estate settlement, not-for-profit fiduciary services, IRAs and retirement planning make him a perfect fit.”

Schultz earned his juris doctorate from Marquette University Law School and a bachelor of business administration in accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He has recently served as a co-chair of a study group that drafted and enacted the Wisconsin Trust Code in December 2013.
