Pinstripe acquires UK recruitment firm

Brookfield-based Pinstripe, Inc. has acquired recruitment outsourcing and talent management company Ochre House, headquartered in London in the United Kingdom.

The acquisition, completed on Wednesday, will boost Pinstripe’s employment base from about 500 employees in Brookfield to almost 800 employees serving 88 global clients.

The acquisition includes Carmichael Fisher, located in Dubai, and Taaheed, which serves the Middle East. Both strategic resourcing firms were acquired by Ochre House in 2012.

“Pinstripe is really excited about bringing a heightened global presence to the Milwaukee market,” said Joy Krausert, chief financial and administrative officer. “As a startup, we’re thrilled to be almost 800 employees strong and operating in 43 countries around the world.”

Pinstripe, a recruitment process outsourcing provider, has been working in partnership with Ochre House to service global clients for the past four years. The organizations’ collaborative history and their shared focus on providing company clients with talent solutions set the stage for the acquisition.

“Our cultures, our visions, our approaches to the industry are very, very similar,” Krausert said. “We’re passionate about delivering customized services to our clients. When you walk into our offices you can feel an energy. We talk about becoming our clients.”

The acquisition was completed with financial support from Pinstripe’s strategic equity partner, Accel-KKR. The leadership team will hold a significant financial stake in the new company.

“The entire global exec team and our 767 employees really look forward to coming together and boldly changing the way the world views talent,” Krausert said.

Each of the four companies involved in the acquisition will continue to function independently in the markets they currently service with their current names. The company’s new website will be ochrehouse.pinstripe.com.

Pinstripe declined to comment on the sale price of the acquisition.
