Wayne Casper has joined Thiel Cheese and Ingredients LLC, Hilbert, as president and CEO. Casper, a cheese industry veteran, previously held senior management and corporate officer positions with Sartori Food Corp. and Sargento Foods Inc.
Kieran Kieckhefer has joined Gucciardi Benefit Resources in Wauwatosa, a division of Summit Benefit & Actuarial Services Inc. of Eugene, Ore. Kieran joins the firm as an actuarial assistant. She received her bachelor of science degree in mathematics from MIT in 2002, and has recently worked with RBC Dain Rauscher in Milwaukee.
Jessica Vigue has joined the Brady Marketing Group, Menomonee Falls, as project manager/graphic specialist. She had been a production assistant at Seroka & Associates, Waukesha, and also worked as an artist coordinator for The Events Group in Phoenix. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communications with a graphic design emphasis, and a minor in art from UW-Green Bay.
Kriss Goad has joined Graphics Systems Corp., Menomonee Falls, as business development manager while George Cook and Dennis Mallat have joined the company as applications engineers. Goad attended UW-Whitewater as an accounting major and received a business management certification from UW-Madison. Cook recently graduated from Marquette University with a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering and a minor in business administration. Mallat served in the United States Army and went on to earn a technical diploma in mechanical and computer drafting from Milwaukee Area Technical College.
Alice Mueller has been promoted to the position of staff horticulturist at Hawks Nursery, Wauwatosa. She had been a tree and shrub specialist in the company’s garden center. She has 10 years of experience as a master gardener for the University of Wisconsin Extension Services. Earlier, she had worked as a marketing and communications firm’s operations director, as assistant director of education the Milwaukee Art Museum, as manager of the artist-in-residence program at the Kohler Co., and as a hospital administrator. Sarah Binkowski has been hired as a project designer at Welch Hanson Associates, Delafield, a division of Yaggy Colby Associates. Binkowski received her bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture from UW-Madison in 2002.
Shantel S. Bacchus has been named a financial representative while Lynda L. Gennerman has been named the director of recruiting and development of the R. Scott Schwertfeger Group, Mequon, a district office of the James A. Schwertfeger Financial Group of the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network.
WPS Health Insurance (WPS) has named Matthew Ziemke as corporate vice president of sales, and Mark Cronce as southeast regional field vice president of sales.
Ziemke was promoted from vice president, agency sales, a position he has held since joining the Madison-based health insurer in 2000. He brings more than 16 years of experience and leadership in the health insurance industry.
Cronce has been promoted as part of a restructuring strategy. He will be responsible for the seven counties of the Southeast Region including Milwaukee, Racine and Kenosha. Other promotions resulting from the restructuring include Fred Wilmsen to northeast regional field vice president; Richard Birrenkott to southwest regional field vice president; and Randy Schalow to northwest regional field vice president.
Thomas J. Hart has joined Mitchell Bank as assistant vice president and commercial loan officer. He will be located at the Business Banking Center in Wauwatosa. Hart joins Mitchell Bank with more than seven years of commercial lending experience and was previously assistant vice president and commercial loan officer at Layton State Bank. Lynn A. Olson has joined Mitchell Bank as credit analyst/credit officer. She will be located at the Business Banking Center in Wauwatosa. Olson has more than 20 years of banking experience and was previously employed by Layton State Bank and Bank One prior to that.
John C. Zimmerman has joined Bloom Consultants, Wauwatosa, as municipal engineering division manager. He has more than 25 years of progressive experience in municipal consulting and private site development. Zimmerman received his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill.
Mark C. Hanson will take the position of president and executive director of the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra on Jan. 12. Hanson has served as executive director of the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra since April 2001. Prior to joining the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra, Hanson was executive director of the Rockford Symphony Orchestra in Rockford, Ill., serving from 1998 to 2001. A native of Boston, Hanson began his undergraduate studies in cello performance at the Eastman School of Music. After graduating from Harvard University with a bachelor’s degree in social studies in 1997, he participated in the American Symphony Orchestra League’s Orchestra Management Fellowship Program, training at the New York Philharmonic, Houston Symphony and Syracuse Symphony Orchestra. In 2000 he attended the League’s Artistic Leadership Seminar in Aspen, and currently serves on the faculty of its Essentials of Orchestra Management Seminar.
Paul Farrelly has been named senior vice president – commercial lending of Community Bank & Trust’s Glendale office. Farrelly has more than 15 years of commercial banking experience. He previously held lending positions at Firstar (US Bank), Bank One and, most recently, TCF Bank. He graduated from UW-Whitewater with his BA in finance and from the UW-Milwaukee with his MBA. Ritu Sharma has accepted the position of private banker with Community Bank & Trust, Glendale office. She previously held the positions of customer service representative and private banker at the Community Bank & Trust office in Plymouth. Sharma graduated from Lakeland College with a bachelor’s degree. in business administration. William K. Rieboldt has been named assistant vice president retail lender of Community Bank & Trust’s Glendale, office. Rieboldt previously held the positions of financial consultant and loan officer, most recently at US Bancorp Investments. Rieboldt, a graduate of UW-Stevens Point, has more than 15 years of banking experience.
Mike Parnon has joined The Redmond Co., Waukesha, as design services director. Parnon brings more than 21 years of architectural experience to Redmond. He will oversee all aspects of Redmond’s in-house design department. He comes to Redmond from a financial design/build background. He previously worked as a design leader in the financial market for HBE out of St. Louis. He has also provided consulting services to financial institutions and was utilized on many projects across the United States for New Ground Resources. Parnon earned a B.A. in fine arts from Tulane University and holds a master’s degree in architecture from Tulane University School of Architecture.
Susan Bugalski has joined Schroeder Solutions, New Berlin, as an account manager. She was previously a vice president of facilities at Robert W. Baird & Co. for 16 years.
Steve Meyer has been named site manager for multiple Waste Management locations in Wisconsin. He will work out of the Menomonee Falls office at the Orchard Ridge Recycling & Disposal Facility. He has been with Waste Management since 1988, gaining primary management experience at the company’s Ridgeview operation in Whitelaw. Dave Koch has been named operations director of Waste Management’s Metro Recycling & Disposal Facility in Franklin. He has been with the company since 1994.
Michael Komro has been promoted to the position of director of finance for the audit and advisory business services department at Ernst & Young. A 1989 graduate of UW-Milwaukee, he has been with the firm for six years. Sarah Whyte has been promoted to audit manager at Ernst & Young. A five-year employee, she earned a bachelor’s degree from UW-Whitewater in 1998.

Eric Lamar has been hired as a processor at the distribution management center. Production Services has hired Candy Zimmer as a graphics designer. Chad Niemuth has been hired as a Web site administrator in the Web Offerings area. The Customer Care area has hired Michael Endter as a customer care representative. Lorna Janicki has been promoted to supplier coordinator in the Learning Offerings work group. Randy Benson has been promoted to production administrator in Production Services. Andrea Spiegelberg has been promoted to administrator in the Community Care work group. Information Technology & Services has promoted Aaron Douglas to decision support analyst.
Nancy Harlan has joined the Meeting Services Division of Epic of Wisconsin in West Bend while Brian Ingalls has joined the company as an administrative assistant. Harlan has more than 20 years of travel agency experience. Before joining Epic, she owned and operated her own retail travel agency for six years.
David Rice has joined SafeNet Consulting, Milwaukee, has director of business development. He spent the last three years in the technology area of Wipfli and before that was with Compuware Corp. and Computer Associates. He holds a bachelor’s degree from St. Norbert College, DePere. John Wallus has joined SafeNet Consulting as branch manager of the Milwaukee office. He spent seven years with Born in Milwaukee, where he achieved the status of partner. Prior to that he was with Management Recruiters Internationals and Hoechst, Marion, Roussel. He earned a bachelor’s degree cum laude from Cardinal Stritch University in Fox Point.
Brian Kading has been named general manager of the new Executive Sedan & Limousine Service of Riteway Bus Service, Germantown. Kading has been with another sedan and limousine service, and worked as a motorcoach driver in Riteway’s Motorcoach Division for more than 10 years. Robert “RJ” Bast” has been appointed business manager of the new service. He has been involved in Riteway management and operations for the past four years and had earlier worked for M&I Marshall & Ilsley Bank. Tom Pomeroy has been hired as safety and compliance director. He brings more than 30 years of experience in the transportation industry.
Christopher K. Balcerzak, Christina M. Binagi, Brad J. Hermes and Michael W. Psuik have been promoted to manager at Vrakas/Blum in Brookfield. Bakzerzak, Binagi and Hermes are managers in the audit division. Psuik is a manager in the tax division.
Josh Johnson has joined CG Schmidt, Milwaukee, as an estimator. He is a University of Washington-Seattle graduate with a bachelors’ degree in construction management. He was previously employed at Anning Johnson in Chicago and Lease Crutcher Lewis in Seattle. Kern Dodds has joined CG Schmidt as a desktop support specialist. He was formerly at Metro Construction.

Ware have been promoted to partner at the Milwaukee law office of Quarles & Brady. Berryman, who focuses his practice on business and commercial litigation, earned his law degree from Northwestern University. Fischer, who focuses on discrimination and employment litigation, earned his law degree from Harvard Law School. Hernandez-Malaby, who focues on white-collar criminal defense and complex commercial litigation, earned her law degree from Harvard Law School. Schneider, who focuses on environmental law, litigation and sports and events marketing, earned her law degree from the University of Wisconsin. Stugelmeyer, who focuses on commercial real estate, earned her law degree from the University of Wisconsin. Ware, who focuses on commercial litigation, antitrust, patent litigation and white-collar defense, earned his law degree from the University of Michigan.
Suzanne Lee has joined Image Makers, Waukesha, as a copywriter and public relations coordinator. She received a bachelor’s degree in professional communications from Alverno College, Milwaukee, in 1991 and has experience as a marketing coordinator, copywriter and freelance writer. She had been an account executive and copywriter with M&I Marshall & Ilsley’s corporate marketing department.
Timothy E. Kronquist, Mark F. Yokom and Charles R. O’Keefe have become shareholders at the Davis & Kuelthau law firm, Milwaukee. Kronquist is a member of the Business and Corporate Law Team and works from the Milwaukee office, focusing his practice on real estate and land use issues. Yokom is a member of the Labor and Employment and Litigation Teams and practices from the Oshkosh office. O’Keefe is a member of the Labor and Employment Team and practices from the Green Bay office.
