Milwaukee-based Blue Horse, an advertising, marketing and public relations agency, has named Nancy Hammerand to the position of media director. Prior to joining Blue Horse, Hammerand was associated with Noble & Associates, Springfield, Mo., where she was a media supervisor, planning media strategies and supervising the activities of media buying service.Hammerand graduated from Western Illinois University, where she received a bachelor’s degree in secondary education.
William Henricks, Ph.D., has been hired as the vice president of operations for Rogers Memorial Hospital. He received his Ph.D. in psychology from Miami University in 1992, and is completing his MBA at UW-Milwaukee.
Core Creative, a Milwaukee-based advertising and public relations agency, has hired Tom Lisak as its newest art director. Prior to joining Core Creative, Lisak worked for a variety of design firms. A resident of West Allis, he holds a bachelor of fine arts degree in advertising design from the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design.
Mike Petersen has joined the construction firm of Selzer-Ornst Co. as project manager. He also has a teaching accreditation in the Wisconsin system of vocational, technical and adult education.
Lisa Miller has been hired as marketing manager for Wisconsin Gas Leasing Services. Prior to joining Wisconsin Gas, she was employed at Blue Cross Blue Shield. Miller received her bachelor of science degree in business and administration and her masters of business administration from Cardinal Stritch University, where she was employed for seven years. She is a resident of Greenfield.
Corporate Images, a Racine business consulting and marketing agency, has promoted Jill Orr of Racine to the position of operations manager. She was previously the office manager. Orr previously worked in Milwaukee and Kenosha.
Maxine O’Brien of Association Max has been named executive director of the Wisconsin Professional Speakers Association. She does association management and meeting planning for about a half dozen other trade associations in Wisconsin. She assumed her new duties on June 1.
Dave Kreiner has been named director of franchise administration for Batteries Plus, a national retail and commercial battery chain based in Hartland. He began his career with the firm in 1996. Kreiner is a graduate of UW-Madison with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
