Paul Petrides joined R.A. Smith National, Brookfield, as a structural engineer in the structural services division.
Petrides has more than seven years of structural design experience as both a designer and project engineer. He began his career designing building facade anchorage for natural stone, precast concrete and metal panels, and has spent the last three years completing low-rise building design projects, underground utility projects, as well as structural inspections for existing structures, while developing his previous employer’s building information modeling (BIM) standards. Petrides brings his diverse structural design experience and passion for building design to R.A. Smith National’s growing structures practice.
Petrides holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Michigan. He is a licensed professional engineer in Wisconsin and Ohio, with a structural engineer licensure in Illinois expected in July 2016.
Petrides resides in Elm Grove, Wis.
