OneJet adds Milwaukee to Indianapolis flight

OneJet has announced it will offer nonstop service from Milwaukee to Indianapolis beginning April 6.

The airline has been working with several stakeholders to meet demand for nonstop flights at lower costs throughout the eastern U.S. for the past several years, and this service is the first phase of its roll out of the Indianapolis-based program.

OneJet will offer the Milwaukee-Indianapolis flight, which takes one hour gate-to-gate and will be operated by Pentastar Aviation Charter Inc., Monday through Thursday. It will offer TSA precheck for eligible travelers, expedited boarding and complimentary on-board amenities.

Tickets for the Milwaukee-Indianapolis route are now on sale for select corporate and online retailers, including American Express Global Business Travel and Expedia.

“This has been a multi-faceted effort incorporating leadership from across the transportation industry, including former senior leadership from the U.S. major airlines, the U.S. Department of Transportation, leading aircraft manufacturers and TSA,” said John Porcari, former U.S. deputy secretary of transportation and a senior advisor to the OneJet program. “As OneJet service is gradually introduced, communities such as Indianapolis will see increased nonstop connectivity and improved travel options.”

“This service will deliver a new level of simplicity and convenience for regional business travelers, with nonstop travel options easily accessible via existing booking tools and point of sale,” said Lesley Conzelman, senior vice president, sales and distribution, for the OneJet program. “We look forward to continuing to work with our distribution partners to ensure OneJet service is easily available to travelers as the program rolls out over the coming two to three years.”
