Milwaukee-based Olympus Group has appointed Jason Ahart chief operating officer.
Ahart has 16 years of experience in exhibit production and most recently worked for Moss Incorporated. His career has included roles overseeing operations of a 100-person production facility, hiring and leading staff, managing budgets, installing exhibit and retail signs, developing departments for new product lines and traveling through Mexico to scout new markets.
In his new position at Olympus, he will handle quality initiatives and production systems with a particular focus on lean manufacturing and long-term growth.
Ahart will also handle digital printing, sewing, purchasing, warehouse and prepress departments.
“Jason’s knowledge of manufacturing large format graphics, paired with an in-depth understanding of lean processes, makes him the perfect leader for our production departments,” Brian Adams, president of Olympus Group, said in a press release. “I’m happy to have him aboard.”
“Olympus Group is a leader in the large format custom printing and mascot costume industries,” Ahart said. “The company is growing in all three of their U.S. locations to exceed the demands of their customers, and I could not resist the opportunity to be part of their growth.”
